The Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit to be held from 11th to 12th of September 2014 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan

Shanghai Cooperation Organizationwill summit be held in September in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

The summit of the SCO is planned to be held on September 11-12th of this year in the Tajikistan capital city Dushanbe.

Iran, Afghanistan, India, Mongolia and Pakistan have an observer status in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an intergovernmental organization that was founded in 2001 in Shanghai by the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

Last year, the SCO summit was held in the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek, bringing together heads of both member and observer states.
